Dupree Twis-Loc Valve (Manual) - Complete
The only RV waste valve designed to be installed once and serviced indefinitely. Built in North America since 1964.
A waste valve built to outlast your RV
Most RV waste valves are designed to fail. Thin plastic bodies, non-replaceable seals, blades that gunk up, handles that snap off. The standard-issue blade gate valve installed on virtually every RV on the road is built to an OEM price point of just a few dollars per unit, and every cost-down decision ends up in the part of your plumbing system handling the most aggressive flow.
The Dupree Twis-Loc is the opposite of that. Heavy-duty ABS body. Positive-lock handle. Fully serviceable internals. The same valve has been in continuous production since 1964 — and we have units from that decade still operating in their original installations.
What makes it different
Heavy-duty ABS body. Significantly thicker than the typical RV gate valve. Designed for the structural loads of slip-joint flex, road vibration, and freeze-thaw cycles that crack thin-wall valves.
Positive-lock handle. A half-turn opens or closes the valve, and the handle locks into the closed position. No slipping under road vibration. No accidental bumps opening the valve while you connect your sewer hose. When the Twis-Loc is closed, it stays closed.
Two-screw serviceable internals. When a seal eventually wears, two screws and a replacement kit restore the valve to factory condition in a couple of minutes. You don't replace the whole valve. You don't disturb the slip-joint gaskets. You service the valve and put it back to work.
60+ years of field validation. Specified by SilverStreak travel trailers and Blue Bird Wanderlodge motor coaches at the height of their premium reputations, and chosen today by high-end motor coach manufacturers. The valve in use on a coach built in 1968 is the same design — refined but architecturally identical — that ships out of our facility this week.
Built in North America. Valve bodies precision-molded in Canada. Final assembly at our facility in the United States. Same manufacturing footprint since 1964. Email us with a question and the response comes from the people who actually make the valve — not a customer service queue.
Fit and installation
The Twis-Loc installs as a permanent part of your waste plumbing system. The 3-inch standard size fits any motorhome, fifth wheel, travel trailer, toy hauler, or motor coach — but the install is more involved than a bolt-on valve swap. It's best suited for new builds, major renovations, or professional retrofits.
When you're done replacing valves
The case for the Twis-Loc is simple. It's a valve you install once and maintain indefinitely. The serviceable design means you're buying into a product, not a consumable. The 60-year track record means you're not the experiment. The North American manufacturing means the people who make the valve are the same people who answer your email.
If your valve has failed or is failing, this is the upgrade that ends the cycle.
